R.I.P. the tall green cone at the apex of a downhill, decreasing-radius right turn.

This cone died after being run over at autocross by a 2019 Camaro 2.0T 1LE. Dragged beneath the coupe’s exhaust system for half a lap, the cone sustained 3rd-degree melting through its base and side.

Sources have yet to confirm whether or not the Camaro’s driver even saw the cone before hitting it. A high beltline is being investigated as the primary suspect  in this cone’s premature death.

You should see the cones we have at the drift school. They were brand new at the start of the year and now they are all at least 30% melted.

Did he get to keep the cone/ Back in my day, we made of point of gifting killed cones to the cone killer in question.
